Mindful Movement & Dance meditation classes with Carol McInerney

The Moving Body is a practice that draws on the movement of the body, heart, and mind as gateways into the present moment. 

Weekly classes are held on Thursday evenings in Dublin - 7.30pm - 9pm.

Through mindful movement, music and dance meditation we can relax the mind, release the heart, let go of stress and connect with the wisdom of the moving body; inviting a sense of freedom into our lives.


Inspirational Keys For Ecstasy and Transformation: Level 3, Transformation and Release

October 12, 2014 - 10:00am to 5:00pm

In this workshop we will be immersing deep with the connection to our root and pelvis through the exploration of deep pelvis release, connection and opening techniques. We will explore, and make conscious, our boundaries and the role gender binaries play in limiting  balance and totality in our bodies; bringing transformation and awareness to our being. We will experience how the combination of breath and conscious touch can transform our connection with another.

The Spirit of Folk Awards Semi Final is an all day and night event hosted in Whelans upstairs venues including 'Upstairs@Whelans' and their beautiful VIP room 'The Parlour'.

The event, starting at 3pm, and continuing into the early hours will host 9 of Ireland's best folk and trad bands shortlisted from applicants around the country applying for the Spirit of Folk Awards. The day and night will also host storytelling by the fire, craft sharing, food stalls and a silent celili!!!
